Please note that some performances, not open to the public, may be included in the Gig Guide. Such performances will be clearly marked as 'Private'. Mostly The Howie Brothers performs as a 3 piece band. Occasionally, however, we may perform as a duo, or a 4 or 5 piece band. We will endeavour to indicate all duo gigs. John Howie's Music Tours for 2010.

1. Country Music Cruise to New Zealand 2010, with John Howie & Travelrite. 14 day cruise. Featuring: Adam Harvey, Wayne Horsburgh, The Howie Brothers, & Laura Downing. Feb. 18th to 3rd March 2010. Also including performances by the Hamilton County Bluegrass Band (in Auckland) and The Chaps (in Dunedin). This cruise is Booked Out, as at 5/1/10. Cruise calls in at Bay of Islands, Auckland, Rotorua, Napier, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, & Milford Sound. Cruise starts and finishes in Sydney.

2. Australian Outback Music Tour 2010, with John Howie & Travelrite. 16 day tour. April 7th – April 24th 2010. Sydney, Mungo National Park, Mildura, Broken Hill, White Cliffs, Tibooburra, Innamincka, Birdsville, Marree, Flinders Ranges, Barossa Valley, Adelaide. Tour group members have the option of returning to Sydney on the Indian Pacific train.

3. Kimberley Music Tour 2010, with John Howie & Travelrite. July 20th to August 2nd 2010. 14 day tour. Darwin, Kakadu, Katherine, Kununurra, Bungle Bungles, Fitzroy Crossing, & Broome. Tour commences in Darwin and finishes in Broome.

4. Music Tour of Ireland (& Edinburgh Tattoo) 2010, with John Howie & Travelrite. August 19th to September 9th 2010. 16 day tour. Edinburgh, Dublin, Wexford, Cork, Killarney, Galway, Westport, Donegal, Derry, Omagh, Belfast. Optional 3-day Extension Tour to London. Main tour: 16 day tour. Edinburgh Extension: 4 day tour. London Extension: 3 day tour.

5. Music Tour of America’s Deep South 2010, with Craig Giles. 20 day tour. September 21st to October 10th 2010. Featuring Elvis Presley 75th Birthday Celebrations (Tupelo & Memphis) and World of Bluegrass Festival (Nashville). Los Angeles, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Tupelo, Memphis, Branson, Nashville, Chattanooga, Pigeon Forge, Charleston, Savannah. Plus 3 day Extension Tour to Jamaica: Montego Bay & Kingston.
